Lauryn's Very Sweet 16 Celebration

Last Saturday, I had the privilege to photograph a very old-fashioned party at the Moffatt-Ladd House in Portsmouth, NH. Lauryn turned 16 in April, but her mom thought that if the party were later (let's say June, for instance) then it would definitely be a huge surprise . . . and she was right.
But the best thing about the party was the theme. Believe it or not, it was a Jane Austin themed Tea Party . . . yes . . . dresses and all. It was unbelievably fun to photograph and everything was amazing - from the beautiful dresses and the hand made hats to the table arrangements and the favors to the ghost stories (featuring the very popular lady in white by the water).
The weather was a little weird for the end of June, but other than that, I would say it was all just PERFECT!

Finally posting images again

As you all have noticed, we have not posted anything new on the blog since March...:(
This happened because so many things changed during this past months that trying to keep up with everything was a great challenge with a few losses... just a few. Unfortunately blogging was one of them.
Since I have not posted any images in a long time, I did not have the chance to show one of my favorite photo shoots.
So... here it comes...

This is Alex's photo session from our not-so warm spring. He is a great kid and tons of fun to photograph. The fact that he is also very photogenic didn't hurt.
Just as a side note, my daughter has a big crush on him, and she is wayyyyyy too young for that!
